We are in Pamplona, Spain and have 48 hours of problems. An engine water coolant pipe burst causing the Morelo to report an EDC fault and entered ‘crawl’ mode. We arranged recovery to an Iveco dealer in Pamplona, they have been great. They found a water hose above the exhaust that had been burned from the heat causing this problem. This has been repaired.
We tried to continue our holiday but again had a problem. The Morelo reported ‘low engine coolant pressure’. We returned to the Iveco dealer and he flushed the coolant system, replaced the coolant header tank cap and tried to replace the coolant pressure sensor but he cannot remove it. It is so tight and the space (in the top of the dashboard is so small) and he said he doesn’t want to damage the header tank by using too much force.
Why would Morelo make this so hard to do?
My question to you my friends is how can we fix this problem? Has anyone had to replace this sensor before? And how did you do it, please?
