Eine kleine Beschreibung meines Updates an der Duschkabine in meinem Concorde Liner von 2007.
Es begann mit einem Riss in der Duschwand gegenüber der Außenwand.
Ich warf einen Blick darauf und kam zu dem Schluss, dass dieser Ort einer umfassenden Renovierung bedarf.
Die drei Kunststoffwände im Duschbereich habe ich durch Faserzementplatten ersetzt.
(absolut wasserunempfindlich und absolut hitze- und kältebeständig)
Für den Duschbereich habe ich diese Platte mit einer Plastikmatte abgedeckt.
(Der Name des Teppichs auf Deutsch?)
Die größte Verbesserung war, dass ich einen „Home-Duschhahn“ installiert habe, der Komfort steigt um +100 %, gleichzeitig sinkt der Wasserverbrauch für eine Dusche.
(Zusätzlich: Ich finde es völlig unverständlich, dass sehr teure Reisemobile die gleichen Duscharmaturen haben wie die Einsteigermodelle.)

A small description of my update to the shower cubicle in my Concorde Liner from 2007.
It started with a crack in the shower wall opposite the outside wall.
I took a look and came to the conclusion that this place needs a major renovation.
I replaced the three plastic walls in the shower area with fiber cement panels.
(absolutely insensitive to water and absolutely stable against heat and cold)
I covered this plate with a plastic mat for the shower area.
(The name of the carpet in German?)
The biggest improvement was that I installed a “home shower faucet”, the comfort increases by +100%, at the same time the water consumption for a shower decreases.
(As an addition: I find it completely incomprehensible that very expensive motorhomes have the same shower fittings as the entry-level models.)
